My name is Yonten Gawa. I am from Martod, Amdo. When I was three years old, my mother passed away. After that, my father took care of me, however my family was very poor and could not afford food and clothing. My father strongly requested that I be given the opportunity to come to Sengdruk Taktse School. After being accepted to this school, I have studied very hard. I would like to study all aspects of Tibetan culture and education so that one day I can repay the kindness of my teachers.
