Tserang Dargye is from Ozer, Darlag County, Golok. He was brought up under the care of both his parents, however at the age of 8 they did not have enough food and clothing to provide for him, whereupon he entered Sengdruk Taktse School. Since coming to this school he has studied very hard, and has received awards for writing.
