Previously, this studen'ts name was Konchok Lhamo. Her name is now Tsangyang Lhamo. She entered this school in 2006. She is from Derge, Kham. The circumstances that brought her to this school are as follows: While her father was digging a well, he fell in the hole, and died. Then after a few years, her mother passed away after eating some poisonous food. She wandered as an orphan for 1 year. Anybody who knows about her situation will be brought to tears, but we will not go into all the details of her story here. Then, a nun with a kind heart, wrote letters to this school telling them about this girl's situation, and she was able to come to this school. She is now 14 years old, and she is doing very well in school.
