Sherab Lhamo is from Dzuktrin, Darlag County, Golok. She was born into a very poor family. When she was four years old, her father went travelling and got in a car accident from which he died of a head injury. Helpless after their father passed away, they lived the life of wandering beggars. However, she was very fortunate and somehow found the way to this school, which she entered in 2003.
