Shenpen Dawa was born in Martod, Golok. His father died in a motorcycle accident. His mother remarried, and did not care for her son anymore. Then, even though he was too young to care for himself, he had no choice but to become a beggar. Because of his situtation, a man with a kind heart brought him to this school in 2003.
