Sangye Nyima| Age:18| Home: Padma| Parents: Father and Mother

My name is Sangye Nyima. I was born in Kyidkar, Padma County, Golok, in the winter when the soft six pedaled flowers were blooming. When I was young my family's livestock were all stolen by a thief. Then a friend let us stay in a small apartment of his, where I lived for some time. Because of where we lived my father and mother and relatives did not want to send me to school. From a young age I disagreed with them. I always liked teachers and also liked to write. Because of these reasons, I asked my older brother to come to Sengdruk Taktse School and ask if I could attend, however he didn't get the chance. Then in 2001 I escaped from my family and came to Sengdruk Taktse School to request permission to attend. I was granted my wish, which was like a young sprout of a freshly planted seed. Now I am studying very hard and I received an award for following the three rules of the school very well.
