Families face adverse circumstances and tragedies, and many are forced to give up their children or they find that they simply can’t take care of them anymore.
There is no way to improve this situation except through the education of Tibetan children, in particular those children who have lost parents, or simply cannot afford to go to school.
Ultimately, education will improve their circumstances and also server to uplift and preserve Tibetan culture as a whole, which is in grave danger of being lost forever.
