All contributions to Joru Foundation are Tax-Deductible to the fullest extent of the law in the United States. The Joru Foundation is incorporated in California , USA and is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization. Tax ID Number: 26-2506892. All donations to The Joru Foundation are fully tax-deductible for US tax payers. Tax deductibility for donations from other countries is subject to the laws and regulation of each country.
Save a Yak’s Life
When you save the life of a Yak, it is gauranteed that your Yak will never be butchered. 100% of your donation will go towards the saving of a yak’s life.
Request a Divination
A divination, or “Mo” in Tibetan, is a way to determine the outcome of important decisions we need to make in our lives. If the diviniation is performed by the right person, the results can be suprisingly accurate.
Sponsor Prayer Flags
Raising prayer flags is said to create positive circumstances in ones life, and the lives of others. When you sponsor a prayer flag, a prayer flag will be raised on your behalf. The proceeds from this act of virtue will be used to fund educational, cultural, and environmental projects of the Joru Foundation.
Online Store and Auction Items
In our online store you will find many items of interest. We have books of poetry written by students of Sengdruk Taktse School, and a DVD of some of the students singing original compositions. We also have auction items such as beautiful Tibetan paintings (thangkas) and other wonderful items.
